The Polish War Cemetery in Bologna, Italy, contains the graves of 1,432 Polish soldiers and officers of the 2nd Polish Corps who died between 1944 and 1945. The inscription on the entrance arch honours Poland’s participation in the Italian Campaign of WWII.
