Visit Brabant, partner of Liberation Route Europe

Welcome to Brabant. The most welcoming province of the Netherlands! Our hospitality is revealed in our smile, in the stories, the cities, the beautiful countryside. We warmly welcome you to experience it for yourself!

VisitBrabant is the main marketing organisation for Brabant. Our main goal is to attract more tourists to our beautiful province. Together with several partners in the Brabant Tourism industry we develop a strong touristic offer, all to make sure the customers experience meets their expectations. And even surpasses them! From spotting designs and shopping in the historical inner cities to sleeping among the lions in the Beekse Bergen and in the fairy-tale world of one of Europe’s best theme-parks, the Efteling. From cycling with Master Painter Van Gogh to spotting beavers in De Biesbosch National Park. Experience it.  New is our ‘Crossroads’ cooperation in which we work together with the top segment of Brabants remembrance and memorial musea (Maczek museum, Camp Vught National Memorial, Wings of Liberation and War Museum Overloon). Personal stories, from known and unknown people, tell the WOII story of Brabant, from beginning until end. It are these personal stories that mark and visualize the most important turningpoints in peoples lives and the war history of Brabant. After all, remembrance begins with people.

“It is because of Liberation Route Europe the history is kept alive and a huge amount of people are in an inviting way introduced to World War II history. We are proud to be their partner.”

Heleen Huisjes, director of Visit Brabant
