Public Opinion Poll 70 Years Freedom - research results
In may 2015, the Liberation Route Europe Foundation and her regional Dutch media partners initiated a Public Opinion Poll about commemorating the Second World War.

European Commission continues to support development of the Liberation Route Europe
"Thanks to the renewed financial support of the European Commission, the Liberation Route Europe can start working on the further development of the route that connects regions in six countries through which the allied forces moved at the end of the Second World War. In ‘The Next Level’ the organisation and involving partners will work on several items and products like the training of guides and development of e-tourism along the route."

Operation Market Garden relived like never before
"The commemorations for Operation Market Garden over the last few weeks attracted more people than ever before. Although the exact numbers are not available, we can be sure that the 250 or so events in the provinces of Brabant and Gelderland, attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors. According to the organisers, approximately 200,000 people came to see the parade through Brabant and an estimated 60,000 people came to watch the annual parachute drop at Ginkel Heath. Smaller events like the World Street Painting Festival in Arnhem also attracted unprecedented popularity. ..."
Liberation Route Europe officially launched
" “The Liberation Route Europe is a powerful symbol of the path of freedom.” That is what Dutch minister of Defence Janine Hennis-Plasschaert stated this morning during her speech at the launch of the international Liberation Route Europe. The route follow the path of the liberators in 1944-1945 towards a free Europe. “With this international liberation and commemoration route, our shared history will be made visible in a unique way, accessible and tangible to many”, said Hennis-Plasschaert during the ceremony that took place in French coast city Arromanches. ..."
