Catania War Cemetery is a Commonwealth cemetery in Catania on the eastern coast of Sicily. It contains graves of 2,135 soldiers who died in the later stages of the Italian campaign during the Second World War. Many of them fell in the heavy fighting in Catania and in the battle for the Simeto River bridgehead.
