Directions

The Remembrance Centre about Indonesia in The Hague keeps the memories alive of the events which happened during the Second World War in the Dutch Indies, the subsequent Bersiap, decolonisation and migration.

Since 2017 the Remembrance Centre about Indonesia can be found in The Hague. The centre is entirely dedicated to the heritage of the Dutch Indies and Indonesia and examines how the former Dutch colony experienced the Second World War and its aftermath. Besides a permanent exhibition, there are also different temporary exhibitions on display. The Remembrance Centre about Indonesia also develops educational programs and (digital) teaching material for educational purposes. The documentation centre about repatriation is also located there.
